Letters for Rev. Dr. Susan Henry Crowe
The Office of LGBT Life is thrilled to announce that during the 22nd Annual Pride Awards on March 4, 2014 the Keeping the Faith Award will be re-named to honor the legacy of the former Dean of Religious Life and the Chapel, Rev. Dr. Susan Henry-Crowe. Rev. Dr. Henry-Crowe was the first recipient of the Keeping the Faith Award in 2011. Her leadership and commitment to advocacy, justice, and education created an engaged and affirming environment for all students, faculty, and staff. Rev. Dr. Henry-Crowe left Emory University in February 2014 to begin a new journey as the Chief Executive of the United Methodist Board of Church and Society.
The Office of LGBT Life is seeking notes/letters from individuals and groups to Rev. Dr. Henry-Crowe explaining how she has impacted their lives. These letters will be printed prior to the Pride Awards on March 4, 2014 and presented to her at the awards ceremony. You may submit your letter below or bring it with you the night of the event.
